Beautifully crafted single-cylinder live steam engine featuring a classic vintage industrial design. This is a high-quality engineers model, reportedly designed, fabricated, hand-finished, and assembled by a retired UK aerospace toolmaker during the 1970s.

Part of a deceased estate and stored for many years, this piece presents in outstanding condition. While not an antique vintage engine, it is certainly a highly collectible modern-era steam model with exceptional workmanship throughout.

I do not have a boiler available for full steam testing, however the engine has been carefully tested on low-pressure compressed air and operates extremely smoothly with no noticeable wear, play, or excessive movement. Condition is effectively “as new”.

The machining, fit, finish, and overall engineering quality are remarkable. Features include lubrication ports at all bearing surfaces and linkages, highlighting the level of detail and craftsmanship put into this build.
